Our process for evaluating technical and financial sponsorship requests is as follows:
Technical Co-Sponsorships
- Organizers initiate the process by emailing a completed Technical Co-Sponsorship Application Form to Bridget Erlikh, ComSoc Compliance Coordinator, at b.erlikh@comsoc.org .
- The 1/1/2010 version of the Technical Co-Sponsorship Application is now available word | pdf
- ComSoc evaluates the proposal and notifies organizers of acceptance or rejection.
- Upon acceptance, the conference will be added to the ComSoc portfolio of events and supported accordingly.
- All applications for Technical Co-Sponsorship must be accompanied by a non-refundable Application Fee of $350.00 before the review process will begin. Conferences which are financially supported by a ComSoc Sister Society or another IEEE Organizational Unit are exempt from this fee.
- Approval of a conference is for that conference in that year only. A new application must be submitted for approval for each conference even if it is a continuation (e.g., in a series) of a previously-approved conference.
Financial Sponsorships
- Organizers should submit an email message to b.erlikh@comsoc.org to initiate the process.
NOTE: No event may claim or mention IEEE or ComSoc sponsorship, nor use IEEE or ComSoc logos, until ComSoc staff has granted application approval.
