IEEE Certification

Wireless Communication Engineering Technologies (WCET) is a certification program and an examination that reflects the realities of what wireless professionals need to know and be able to do on the job. WCET certification provides a credential in the areas most valued by an employer or potential employer. A company that hires, promotes, or assigns a WCET certificant to a task within the purview of the certification can do so with confidence that the individual possesses the essential knowledge associated with performing that task.

WCET certification is guided by an Industry Advisory Board, and supported by Question Writers and Examination Oversight committees. Members of these groups guide future certification examinations to ensure that the most current technologies, up-to-date procedures, and latest regulations and customer needs are part of the examination and therefore part of the certified knowledge and skills. ComSoc is committed to keep WCET current and valuable to both individuals and employers.
